Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application and attending Market at the Park, stallholders agree to the following terms and conditions.
Stall Allocation
- Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance.
- Stallholder selection and site allocation are at the sole discretion of the Market at the Park
organisers.
- Successful applicants will be contacted by email if a site becomes available.
- Stall sites may not be shared, transferred, or sublet without prior approval from the organisers.
Stall Equipment
- Stallholders are responsible for providing their own gazebo, tables, chairs, signage, lighting,
extension leads, and any other equipment required for their stall.
- Trestle tables and power are not included unless specifically arranged in advance.
Vehicle Access & Parking
- Stallholders may use their vehicles for unloading and loading during pack-in and pack-out only.
- All vehicles must be removed from market areas and parked either directly behind qualifying stall
sites or in the designated stallholder parking areas no later than 2:00pm, being one hour before the
market opens.
- Vehicles must not be moved within the market area during trading hours unless authorised by
event organisers.
Market Trading Hours
- Stallholders must be fully set up and ready to trade before the market opens.
- Stallholders must remain operational until the official market closing time of 8:00pm.
- Early pack-down is not permitted unless approved by the organisers due to exceptional
circumstances.
Pack-In & Pack-Out Safety
- Stallholders must exercise extreme care and awareness when setting up and packing down.
- The safety of attendees, fellow stallholders, volunteers, and organisers must always be prioritised.
- Vehicles must move at walking pace when entering or leaving the event site.
- Stallholders must follow all directions provided by event staff during pack-in and pack-out.
Health & Safety
- Stallholders must comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all relevant New
Zealand legislation.
- All gazebos must be adequately weighted and secured.
- Electrical equipment must be safe and suitable for public use.
- Any hazards, accidents, or incidents must be reported to organisers immediately.
Food & Beverage Vendors- Food vendors must comply with the Food Act 2014 and hold any required registrations, permits, or
certifications.

Insurance & Liability
- Stallholders are responsible for their own equipment, stock, and personal belongings.
- Market at the Park and its organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft, damage, or injury
arising from participation in the event.
- Stallholders are encouraged to hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance.
Product Selection
- Preference is generally given to independently owned and operated businesses rather than
franchises, distributors, or brand representatives.
- Existing stallholders and product categories are considered to ensure a balanced market
experience.
Photography & Promotion
- Photographs and videos may be taken during the event and used by Market at the Park for
promotional purposes.
Right to Refuse or Remove
- Organisers reserve the right to refuse applications or require a stallholder to leave the event if
these terms are breached or if behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate.
